Twas the night before Christmas, and all through Green Bay The Packer fans prepped for another game day. Our jerseys were hung in the closest with care, … Our snow pants and coats were ready to wear.
… The children were nestled all snug in their beds As they drifted off wearing their little cheese-heads. Mom with her foam finger, and I wearing the belt Had just settled down, how tired we felt!
Before we all knew it, our alarm clocks rang wild And we sprang from our beds, Lambeau Leap style. On went our jerseys, face paint, and snow suits, We grabbed our hand warmers, our hats, and our boots.
We jumped in the car and headed up to Green Bay We mimicked dance moves of Aaron, Raji, and Clay. We arrived at Lambeau, and let out a big cheer, As we ran to the tent for some brats and some beer.
Then into the stadium we piled together, Not at all minding the freezing cold weather. We danced and we cheered as the Packers came out, THIS is what being a Packer fan is about.
From the blue and the orange fans, we got a few stares, So we yelled even louder, “Go Pack, beat the Bears!” And with a coin toss the game has begun, So I lifted my sign that read “13-1!”
I tipped my head back, and looked into the sky, A red, flying object had just caught my eye. Then, over the stadium flew Santa’s sleigh, The crowd was dead silent, a first in Green Bay
We all watched in awe as Santa flew by, And then he rode off into the night sky. We heard him exclaim as he drove out of sight, “Merry Christmas to all, may the Pack win tonight!
